  • Gig Information: Gig dates, schedules, venues, bands, contractors, payment details, notes, and related information.
  • Gear Information: Equipment inventory, photos, purchase dates, prices, and specifications.
  • Venue Information: Venue names, addresses, contact information, technical specifications, and related details.
  • Tax Information: Deductions, tax planning data, and other financial records used for tax preparation.
  • Emergency Contact Information: Names and phone numbers of emergency contacts you provide.
  • Photos and Images: Profile photos, gear photos, venue photos, and other images you upload to the Service.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you use the Service, we may automatically collect certain information, including:

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and device settings.
  • Usage Information: How you interact with the Service, features you use, and time spent in the app.

  • Apple iCloud: When you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your iCloud account in accordance with Apple's privacy policies.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Local Storage

Your data is primarily stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This includes all personal information, financial data, gig records, gear inventory, and photos. Local data is encrypted and protected by your device's security features.

4.2 iCloud Sync

When you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We do not have access to your iCloud data except as necessary to provide the sync functionality. Your iCloud data is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

4.3 Backend Services

We maintain backend services that store certain non-personal data, including:

  • Public venue information (names, addresses, technical specifications) that may be shared across users
  • Gear database information (product specifications, images) that may be shared across users
  • Tax rate and deduction limit data for calculation purposes
  • Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics

Your personal financial information, gig records, and other sensitive personal data are NOT stored on our backend servers. These remain on your device and in your iCloud account only.

4.4 Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL protocols
  • Encryption of data at rest on our servers
  • Secure authentication and access controls
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

  • Deleting individual records (gigs, gear, venues) within the app
  • Disabling iCloud sync, which will remove synced data from iCloud (local data remains)
  • Uninstalling the app, which removes local data (iCloud data remains unless separately deleted)

6.3 Location Services

You can control location data collection through your device's location services settings. Disabling location services may limit certain features of the Service.

6.4 iCloud Sync

You can enable or disable iCloud sync at any time through the Service's settings. Disabling sync will prevent data from being stored in iCloud but will not delete existing iCloud data.

6.5 California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including:

  • The right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
  • The right to request deletion of your personal information
  • The right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)

When you delete data through the Service, it is removed from your device and, if applicable, from iCloud. However, we may retain certain information for legitimate business purposes, such as:

  • Backup and disaster recovery purposes (for a limited time)
